Accessible Building Design for Ontarians with Disabilities
The Municipality of North Grenville supports and encourages the improvement of accessibility for persons with disabilities and the elderly, by removing and/or preventing building and land use barriers, which restrict the full participation of those persons in society.
While barrier free design requirements already exist in the Ontario Building Code, the Municipality recognizes that these are minimum standards. Accordingly, North Grenville has prepared its own Accessibility Design Guidelines, which are available in hard copy at the Planning & Building Department or your can click on the links below.
