- Participate in the selection of the Detachment Commander for North Grenville.
- Generally determine objectives and priorities for police services.
- Establish any local policies with respect to police service.
- Monitor the performance of the Detachment Commander.
- Receive regular reports from the Detachment Commander on local crime trends.
- Monitor compliance of existing contracts for service between the Community and the Ontario Provincial Police.
- Ensure the safety and security of all persons and property within North Grenville.
- Promote the Police and the Community working together to prevent crime.
