North Grenville Superior Water Shuttle Accreditation 

The North Grenville Fire Service has successfully completed the Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation.  The accreditation gives a rural tanker credit within 8 kilometers by road of the North Grenville Fire Station for residential properties and a Commercial class of 7 within 5 kilometers of the fire station.

The Superior Water Shuttle Accreditation is awarded to departments that demonstrate the ability to deliver a minimum of 200 gallons of water for a minimum of 2 hours and by doing so are considered as a "hydrant equivalent" for insurance purposes.

Most insurance companies recognize the accreditation in calculating insurance premiums. However, it is in the best interest of the property owner to ensure their insurance agent is recognizing the accreditation and providing a competitive rate.
