North Grenville Community Plan

The Community Plan Committee was formed in 2006 to monitor the progress that North Grenville was making in implementing our strategic plan.

The Plan – that can be downloaded from the link below - contains 32 specific measures and recommendations. As of May 2009, 70 per cent of those recommendations have been completed and progress has been made on the remaining 30 per cent.

One of the key points in The Plan is the importance of working together and making the most of the energy, skills, facilities and equipment that already exist here in North Grenville. To do that, the Committee recently launched the Great North Grenville Inventory.

This survey will tell us more about the groups, organizations and businesses that make up North Grenville. It will also make it easier for us to better help one another.

So – who should fill out the survey?

  • Any group, organization or business that produces public events in North Grenville like festivals, dance recitals, car shows, lectures or trade events.
  • Any group, organization or business that supports or sponsors events in North Grenville like service clubs, churches, schools and community associations.
  • And – any group, organization or business that has a venue that hosts public events like rehearsal space, stages, playing fields and dining facilities.

Please complete the survey and return it by July 17th, 2009. It can be dropped off or mailed c/o the Municipal Centre or emailed to ngplan@northgrenville.on.ca. Additional copies of the survey will be available at the Municipal Offices or they can be downloaded from the link below.
