DESCRIPTION:<p>North Grenville’s Draft Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan (2
 026) is a municipality-wide strategy to increase the supply, affordability,
  and diversity of housing in response to projected population growth and id
 entified housing need.</p><p>The plan sets out goals, definitions, eligibil
 ity rules, and a range of financial incentives - such as development grants
 , tax-increment equivalent grants, ARU rebates, accessibility top-ups, and 
 building fee rebates - to encourage the creation of affordable rental and o
 wnership housing, including barrier-free and missing-middle options.</p><p>
 It also establishes program terms and conditions, identifies the entire mun
 icipality as the improvement area, and includes appendices with examples, b
 est practices, and people-centred tools to support both housing development
  and long-term affordability for current and future residents.</p>
