NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – Following the direction from the Provincial government and the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, starting March 1st, all North Grenville recreation and event facilities will be open at 100% capacity and will no longer require visitors to show proof of vaccination.

The following COVID-19 requirements will remain in place:

• All visitors and participants must continue to wear a mask, except when actively participating in sport or fitness activities and when eating/drinking. Provincially mandated masking exceptions apply.
• All visitors/participants must self-screen using the provincial screening tool prior to entry. If an individual does not pass the screening, they must follow Public Health requirements for self-isolation.
• As capacity limits are removed, physical distancing continues to be encouraged.

“We would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and assistance during this next phase. We are very hopeful that the end of the COVID-19 pandemic is in sight. This said, we urge you to use caution and continue to follow public health measures,” highlighted Mayor Nancy Peckford.
