At their regular meeting on July 16, 2019, North Grenville’s Municipal Council appointed members to seven advisory committees.  This is in addition to the Mayoral Task Force on Affordable Housing struck in January and the Community & Economic Development Advisory Committee convened in April 2019.

County Road 43 Funding Announced

The Municipality of North Grenville is pleased to announce that the Provincial Government has approved a joint funding application submitted by the Municipality and the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville to support crucial upgrades to County Road 43.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, the Council of the Municipalityof North Grenville will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Municipality’s proposed Development Charges (D.C.) By-Law and underlying Background Study.

Garbage pick-up will be delayed today. If yours is not collected today, please leave it out (or put back out before 7 am) and it will be collected tomorrow. Due to the statutory holiday on Monday, today's pick-up is Wednesday's route. Please see garbage and recycling schedule here.

On January 1, 2019, the Green Energy Act, 2009 was repealed, along with its regulations. Select conservation and energy efficiency initiatives, such as the BPS energy reporting regulation, were moved to the Electricity Act, 1998. O. Reg. 397/11 (Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plans) was replaced by O. Reg. 507/18 (Broader Public Sector: Energy Reporting and Conservation and Demand Management Plans). No changes were made to the regulation when it was replaced.
