National Indigenous History Month is recognized annually across Canada in the month of June.

North Grenville Celebrates Pride Month

North Grenville – Council has declared the month of June as LGBTQ2+ Pride Month for the Municipality of North Grenville.  

“Today’s flag raising, and the annual proclamation of Pride Month reflects our community’s commitment to diversity,” said Mayor Peckford. “We all have the right to belong, no matter our gender or sexual identity.”

The Rotary Club of Kemptville will host North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford for a presentation and public discussion about the future use of surplus agricultural lands from the former Kemptville College.

NORTH GRENVILLE – The Municipality is inviting the community to participate in the development of a Reconciliation Framework. A community engagement session will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (285 County Road 44).
