Municipality of North Grenville announces additional changes to Clerk’s Office

November 8, 2019

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – As a result of Ms. Kimberley Casselman’s decision to return to her position at the Town of Prescott, Council has decided to make adjustments to the current structure of the Clerk’s Office.

Cahl Pominville, the current Director of Corporate Services/Clerk, has offered to support the transition of hiring a new Clerk in light of these changes.

“On behalf of my Council colleagues, we would like to thank Mr. Pominville for his assistance beyond November 29th during this transition,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford.

The Municipality is seeking a Director of Corporate Services/Clerk with strong collaborative leadership skills who is able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing support to Council.

A Deputy Clerk will be in place by early December and Council is considering the addition of a Committee Clerk to support the eight newly appointed Advisory Committees as well as other clerical duties.

“We are confident that this new structure will provide more capacity to support Council and staff at the Municipality,” added Deputy Mayor Jim McManaman.
