May 18, 2021

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – For more than 20 years, Community Living Month has been recognized annually across Ontario for the month of May.

“North Grenville’s Municipal Council would like to take this opportunity to once again raise awareness about the invaluable role that Community Living plays in North Grenville. The inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is fundamental to a healthy community and we are very proud of the strong relationship that Community Living has with so many of our residents here,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford.

“As a widely respected and large employer in our community, Community Living North Grenville continues to be a leader in creating and supporting a more inclusive community, added Deputy Mayor Jim McManaman.

North Grenville’s Municipal Council has declared the month of May Community Living Month, and as such the Flag will be flown at the Municipal Centre.

While their traditional events such their signature Comedy Night fundraiser was put on hold, there are still many ways the community can participate and support Community Living North Grenville.
