Take notice that the Municipality of North Grenville will hold a public meeting under Section 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended to consider a proposed Subdivision. This Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing requirements, this Public Meeting will be held online only, and can be accessed through the Municipality's website at www.northgrenville.ca. Instructions on how to participate in the Public Meeting are attached to the meeting Agenda.
The purpose of this application is to permit the development of a residential subdivision on private services. The proposed subdivision will be comprised of 7 new lots, each with a single-detached dwelling, and an internal road network, on approximately 3.84 hectares.
Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or oral submissions either in support of or in opposition to the above item. In the event that you are unable to attend the meeting but wish to submit written comments, please ensure that your comments are delivered to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville at the address below (Attention: Cherie Mills) prior to the day of the meeting.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
