Notice of Completion - Water & Wastewater Master Plan Update

THE MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH GRENVILLE has completed a Water & Wastewater Master Plan Update for the Municipality’s potable water distribution and sanitary sewage collection systems. The Master Plan identifies infrastructure requirements to address current deficiencies and support future development and growth in the Municipality for the next 20 years.

This project was prepared as a Master Plan Update following Phases 1 and 2 of a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. The purpose of this Notice is to inform the public of the completion of the planning stage of this project. The Municipality is making the final Master Plan report available to the general public at the following locations:

The Environmental Assessment Act has provisions that allow an interested person, Aboriginal community, or government agency to ask for a higher level of assessment for a Class Environmental Assessment project if they feel that there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed by the proponent. This higher level of assessment is referred to as a Part II Order request. Such requests must be addressed in writing to the Minister of the Environment and received no later than February 27th, 2016 at the following address:

Please note that a duplicate copy of a Part II Order request must also be sent to the Municipality of North Grenville at the address noted above.
