Notice of the First Round of Public Consultation for the Municipality of North Grenville Transportation Master Plan Metroquest Survey

The Municipality of North Grenville has initiated the development of a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) to guide short-, medium-, and long-term transportation infrastructure improvements. The TMP will establish the Municipality’s strategic directions to meet the long-term development needs of the transportation network as North Grenville accommodates mobility for future growth. As one of the fastest growing municipalities in Eastern Ontario, North Grenville is committed to providing a broad range of amenities and services to its residents and visitors.

The TMP will examine existing issues and identify opportunities in North Grenville’s transportation network, as well as alternative solutions. Recommendations arising from the study will guide future transportation initiatives and infrastructure improvement priorities for motorized vehicles, as well as commuter cycling facilities.

The TMP will be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Process (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011 and 2015), which is an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

You are invited to participate in an online survey to provide input on the TMP. Please review the project website at www.northgrenville.ca/NGTMP for information regarding the first round on public consultation for the TMP. This survey will close on June 1st, 2018.
