Winter Storm Disruptions and Cancellations - Updated 10:45 a.m. February 13

Although the winter storm warning issued by Environment Canada has passed, the Department of Public Works has not declared an end to the significant weather event for the Municipality.

During a significant weather event, Public Works crews are focused on plowing main roads and sidewalks next to high volume roads and in high pedestrian areas.  These priority areas may have to be cleared and cleared again several times before plows can move into residential areas.  Please continue to exercise caution when driving.

Below is a list of disruptions/cancellations as of 10:45 a.m. on February 13.

  • There is no recycling collection today; if today is your regular recycling collection day, please put your blue box out on Thursday instead
  • Garbage collection is going ahead as planned
