Background:
In December 2021, Municipality of North Grenville approved the Truck Route Policy. This policy was created in consultation with Paradigm Transportation Solutions Ltd. and was developed in coordination with three other transportation related policies and strategies.
Through April and May 2022, the Public Works Department brought the Truck Route By-Law, as developed and approved through the Truck Route Policy, to Council for adoption. At that time, it was made clear that an additional consultation was required. Council has deferred the approval of the By-Law until after further public consultation.
