Municipality Launches New Website
North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville has launched a new municipal website, effective January 10, 2023.
The new website has been designed to offer a refreshed look and feel, while providing improved navigation and functionality and enhanced technology. The new website meets the accessibility standards as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and has incorporated a mobile-optimized design to ensure that the website is mobile-friendly.
“Council is very pleased with the new website, which not only looks great, but also provides improved service to residents and business leaders,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford. “We are particularly excited about the community engagement element that has been incorporated into the site, where users can opt to receive updates directly to their email.”
The new website also delivers on the Efficient Governance and Service Delivery pillar of our Strategic Plan: enhancing service modernization and public engagement programming to ensure efficient and accessible municipal services. Online communication is crucial to the way that we deliver services to our residents and this site will enhance our interactions and improve communications that will allow us to focus on transparency and accountability.
