NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville has launched the 2023 Community Grant Program for members of the public and community organizations who wish to make a funding request.
“Organizations and individuals seeking support for community-based initiatives are encouraged to complete the application,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford. “We welcome applications that are innovative, leverage partnerships and foster community cohesion.”
The Community Grant Request Form is available online here: www.northgrenville.ca/budget.
Hard copies will also be available at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (285 CR44, Kemptville) and the North Grenville Public Library (1 Water St., Kemptville).
The deadline to submit a community grant is Monday, January 16, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Applicants will be advised of an opportunity to present their initiatives to Council in late January 2023, as part of the budgeting process (dates to be determined).
Funding in 2022 supported successful projects that promoted quality of life, expanded recreational opportunities within North Grenville, and responded to the needs of seniors, families and youth.
“We are excited by the range of community-led initiatives that have been brought forward to date, and which build on existing services and activities. Community participation and engagement is vital to the health and success of North Grenville,” added Councillor John Barclay.
