NG17-23 Road Patrol Software
The Municipality on North Grenville is requesting proposals for the purchase of road patrol software. This proposal should include, but is not limited to, everything required for installation and use of the software in our road vehicles used during road patrols. Contractors are advised to review and complete the tender document provided and provide sealed proposals to the Municipal Office, 285 County Rd. #44, PO Box 130, Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0 by Friday, August 18th, 2017 at 12:00 pm local time. NG17-27 Road Needs Study - Gravel Network
The Municipality on North Grenville is requesting proposals to complete an update to the current Road Needs Study completed in 2012. It should be noted that ONLY gravel roads will need to be assessed as the hard surfaced roadways were completed in 2016 as part of a 2106 Road Condition Survey. Contractors are advised to review and complete the Request for Proposal document provided and provide sealed proposals to the Municipal Office, 285 County Rd. #44, PO Box 130, Kemptville, ON K0G 1J0 by Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at 12:00 pm local time. There will be a public opening  at the Municipal Centre fifteen minutes following the closing of this tender.

The Municipality of North Grenville encourages competition among suppliers in order to maximize savings for taxpayers. The purchasing process is transparent and equitable ensuring fairness among bidders.

Purchasing Procedures

There are a variety of purchasing procedures in place to ensure openness and accountability. The Municipality is also aware of the regulations set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act as it pertains to any purchases or business transactions the Municipality is involved in.

Quotations – The Municipality will seek three verbal quotations for items under $2,000 and three written quotations for items ranging from $2,000 to $10,000.

Tenders – The Municipality will issue a tender for items $10,000 and over.

Requests for Proposals – The Municipal may seek a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an item of any dollar value, which may include professional and consulting services.
