The Municipality of North Grenville intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by Local Authority Services (LAS) for fiscal 2021. For further information and access to LAS request for proposal (RFP) notices please review the website at www.las.on.ca.

The Municipality of North Grenville encourages competition among suppliers in order to maximize savings for taxpayers. The purchasing process is transparent and equitable ensuring fairness among bidders.

Purchasing Procedures

There are a variety of purchasing procedures in place to ensure openness and accountability. The Municipality is also aware of the regulations set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act as it pertains to any purchases or business transactions the Municipality is involved in.

Quotations – The Municipality will seek three verbal quotations for items under $2,000 and three written quotations for items ranging from $2,000 to $10,000.

Tenders – The Municipality will issue a tender for items $10,000 and over.

Requests for Proposals – The Municipal may seek a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an item of any dollar value, which may include professional and consulting services.
