NG19-27 Request for Quotation Downtown Crosswalk Pilot Project

The Municipality of North Grenville is issuing a request for quotation for a pilot project to replace and install two (2) decorative crosswalks in the downtown core of Kemptville at the intersection of Prescott Street and Asa Street.

These crosswalks were initially created using a thermal overlay product and have worn to non-existence in the vehicle travelled portions of the crosswalks. The crosswalks are to be replaced with interlocking brick which have the same aesthetic culture of the classic offset red brick pattern with the standard white border.

Sealed tenders will be received by 2:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Administration Office, 285 County Rd. 44, Box 130, Kemptville, K0G 1J0.

Purchasing Procedures

There are a variety of purchasing procedures in place to ensure openness and accountability. The Municipality is also aware of the regulations set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act as it pertains to any purchases or business transactions the Municipality is involved in.

Quotations – The Municipality will seek three verbal quotations for items under $2,000 and three written quotations for items ranging from $2,000 to $10,000.

Tenders – The Municipality will issue a tender for items $10,000 and over.

Requests for Proposals – The Municipal may seek a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an item of any dollar value, which may include professional and consulting services.
