New Mental Health Initiatives Fund Open for Applications
The Mental Health Initiatives Fund (MHIF) is a new municipal funding program designed to support local organizations and empower grassroots mental health projects across the community.
Mental health is foundational to personal and community well-being. Through the MHIF, the Municipality is investing in local solutions that promote wellness, reduce stigma, and make mental health supports more accessible to everyone.
The MHIF supports projects that:
- Break down barriers to mental health services and improve system navigation
- Increase mental health literacy and everyday coping skills
- Promote positive mental health and well-being
- Reduce stigma and foster inclusive, supportive environments
Grants typically range from $500 to $3,000 and can cover up to 75% of a project’s total cost. In some cases, the Municipality may also waive facility rental fees to further support local initiatives.
Applications are now open to eligible non-profit, charitable, and community-based organizations serving North Grenville residents.
Application Deadline: June 12, 2025, by 5:00 PM (local time).
