About Us
Established in 1996 for the love of singing.
Jim Watson and the late Lana Pelletier were inspired to gather friends, family, and community members to form the North Grenville Concert Choir. Our first performance in December 1997 was Handel's Messiah and we have maintained the tradition by singing the program regularly.
About the Music Director
Phillip Konopka has been playing professionally in the North Grenville and Ottawa regions for over 15 years and has also been the NGCC's Accompanist. He completed his degree in piano performance at the University of Ottawa. He is an organist at Holy Cross Church in Kemptville, a composer and arranger. Phillip also gives lessons in piano, guitar, voice and theory, and is the musical director for the Kemptville Youth Musical Theatre Company.
