On Sunday, September 10, 2023, the Municipality of North Grenville will recognize Firefighters’ National Memorial Day, a day to pay tribute to the firefighters who risk their lives keeping Canadians safe. It is also a day to honour and remember those firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

NORTH GRENVILLE – This year marks the 25th anniversary of North Grenville as an amalgamated Municipality. Born out of the infamous ice storm of 1998 when the historic Oxford-on-Rideau Township, Town of Kemptville and Township of South Gower were merged through the Province of Ontario to create the Municipality of North Grenville.
NORTH GRENVILLE - The North Grenville Public Library is excited to announce the addition of new outdoor equipment available for loan. Thanks to the 2022 ParticipACTION prize money, the Library has been able to purchase Bocce ball sets, pickleball sets, tennis rackets and balls, KanJam kits and even a metal detector.
River Road Rehabilitation begins August 28, 2023 and will last approximately three weeks.
The rehabilitation of River Road will take place from Muldoon Road west to Actons Corners (approximately 2 km).
The Dennison Bridge will be closed to traffic from August 28th until its completion on October 20th, 2023. The bridge is located on Dennison Road just South of County Road 18 and North of the train tracks.
A detour will be put in place for the duration of the work and will utilize County Road 18, to Bedell Road, and back to Dennison Road. (Please refer to map below).
North Grenville – Mayor Peckford and Council, along with a small number of senior staff, joined more than 2,400 participants at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario's 2023 AMO Conference at RBC Place London and the DoubleTree by Hilton in London, Ontario from August 20 to 23.
