The Follow 44 route takes you along County Road 44 from Rideau River Provincial Park, through Kemptville, past several country attractions, an into Spencerville. It’s just 27 kilometres long, so you could drive it in half an hour—but why rush? Take the time to enjoy coffee and fresh scones, explore a wooded trail network (with your dog!), chat with artists, walk with an alpaca, browse at a farmers’ market or independent boutique, visit a quiet village, go for a swim, or unwind with a leisurely lunch. When you Follow 44, you’ll have lots of time to discover your own favourites—just a short distance south of Ottawa.
