The Municipality of North Grenville is offering a Property Tax Deferral Program for commercial properties located within the County Road 43 construction corridor. Eligible property owners may apply to defer the Municipal and/or County portion of their 2026 property taxes.
All other levies, including the education (school board) portion and any unapproved taxes, remain payable and will be subject to penalty and interest charges in the event of non-payment. Deferred amounts approved under the program will become due to the Municipality in 2027 in accordance with the regular installment schedule.
Applications must be submitted by March 13, 2026. This program is subject to Council approval.

To qualify, a property must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be classified as commercial or shopping centre (either entirely or in part).
- Be fronting on County Road 43.
- Be located within the defined construction zone, which extends from County Road 19 west to 200 metres past the Highway 44 intersection. (See Map)
- Be in good standing with the Municipality (i.e. no outstanding taxes, compliance or property standards orders).
