The Municipality of North Grenville is offering a Property Tax Deferral Program for commercial properties located within the County Road 43 construction corridor. Eligible property owners may apply to defer the Municipal and/or County portion of their 2026 property taxes.
On November 19, 2025, the Old Kemptville Business Improvement Area (BIA) Board of Management voted to request that the Council of the Municipality of North Grenville make three BIA By-law changes:
NORTH GRENVILLE — Two Kemptville-based businesses were recognized for their innovation and growth potential through the inaugural Leeds Grenville’s Greatest Entrepreneur Competition, celebrating entrepreneurship across the region. On January 28th the competition concluded with a live pitch and gala in Prescott, where finalists presented to a panel of five judges drawn from business and community leadership across the region.
The Leeds Grenville Small Business Centre is now accepting applications for the next intake of Starter Company Plus, beginning in May. This program provides small business owners with training, mentorship, and potential grant opportunities to help strengthen and grow their businesses. Participants will receive guidance in areas such as strategic planning, market research, and sales, along with access to interactive workshops and a network of fellow entrepreneurs.
Green Gables Vines Winery is a boutique winery nestled on five acres at the border between North Grenville and Edwardsburg Cardinal. The winery’s winter hardy vines flourish in the unique microclimate of the area, producing reliable hand-crafted small-lot wines.
Brandy Gould has worn many hats over the past 20 years but as of May, this year, she is the proud owner and manager of Aphrodite Escape Spa in Kemptville, On.
“She’s a pretty unique individual, she’s incredibly creative yet her administrative and managerial skills are off the charts as well,” says Rob Thompson, CEO of the Rob Thompson Group of Companies, Gould’s former boss and current landlord.
