About North Grenville

Welcome to Kemptville and the hamlets of North Grenville

North Grenville is an amalgamation of the Town of Kemptville and six Heritage Hamlets (Oxford Mills, Oxford Station, Bishops Mills, Heckston, & Peltons Corners) – an ideal combination of urban and rural.

We are the forests, farms, and rivers, a green and sustainable place. We are a rural community, with an extensive trail network, farm shops, and outlying attractions. Yet we are also a busy city hub offering exciting, large events, great shopping, and unique dining experiences. We are a growing place with visitor attractions across the municipality...including the UNESCO designated, World Heritage Rideau Canal (and our own tributary, the South Branch River, also known as Kemptville Creek) where we boat, fish, and swim or skate on in the winter!

Welcome! Enjoy your visit exploring everything all the Hamlets of North Grenville have to offer you!
