Volunteer Fair & Estate Planning Seminar
The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau and Volunteer North Grenville are excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Volunteer Fair on Monday, November 3, 2025. Interested volunteers can drop-in between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (Suites).
This event is designed to help local organizations recruit volunteers and to help community members — including students, families, and retirees — discover opportunities that match their interests.
Smart Estate Planning Seminar
The day will also include a Smart Estate Planning Seminar: “Lower Taxes, Honour Your Wishes, Live With Confidence.” This free seminar will feature local experts Daren Givoque (Financial & Estate Planning Specialist) and Connie Lamble (Kemptville Lawyer), covering:
- Fundamentals of Wills and Powers of Attorney every executor should know
- Avoiding the three biggest tax pitfalls most Canadians miss
- Who you should not select as an executor or POA
