Community Economic Development 101
Community Economic Development (CED) is a foundation for rural prosperity and resiliency.
CED staff from OMAFRA have been delivering CED 101 workshops for many years, following municipal election cycles. The workshops are geared towards those new to municipalities, elected or otherwise, new to CED, or for anyone who would just like a refresher, who might benefit from a high level overview of CED and its many facets.

- Collaborative roles of individuals & organizations
- Tools & resources to assist you
Who should attend: Elected officials, economic development boards/committees, municipal staff and community leaders, organizations, and volunteers involved in CED. Registration is now open for in-person and online workshops.
