Spring Equinox

The spring equinox is also called the vernal equinox and has long been celebrated as a time of renewal, rebirth, and new beginnings. The exact date and time of the spring vernal equinox changes each year slightly and marks the first astronomical day of spring on the Gregorian calendar.
