From 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. we will gather at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (Suite B) to paint tiles for the Mosaic Legacy Tile Project. The session will start with a presentation by Indigenous Advisory Circle member Haileigh McKenzie on the Seven Grandfather teachings. Painters will be encouraged to paint something that inspires them from these teachings. At 12:00 p.m. we’ll meet at Mino-jichaag Mtigwaaki to celebrate the Spring Equinox with fire, tea and refreshments, and camaraderie.

Mosaic Legacy Tile Project
The project received $2,000 this past year from the North Grenville Arts and Culture Development Fund (ACDF). The completed mural will be 8 feet by 8 feet, made up of individual 4-inch square tiles painted by individuals and mounted together in a way that creates one beautiful mural. This will be a visual expression of individuality, diversity, and inclusivity coming together in collaboration to produce a beautiful legacy art piece for the community to enjoy.
