3rd Annual Beyond the Label Conference

beyondLabel.png
We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual Beyond the Label Conference—a FREE community event focused on redefining inclusion through the full neurodiversity umbrella.
This Year’s Focus: The Full Neurodiversity Umbrella
This year, we’re expanding the conversation.
Grounded in topics explored by our speakers, we’ll be diving into:
• ADHD & executive functioning
• FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder)
• Trauma and nervous system impacts
• Emotional regulation & relational care
• Identity, authenticity, and lived experience
Because neurodiversity isn’t one experience—it’s a spectrum of ways brains adapt, process, survive, and thrive.

What This Conference Is About
This isn’t about “fixing” individuals.
It’s about rethinking the systems people are expected to function within.
Together, we’ll move beyond awareness and into:
✔ Universal Design
✔ Equity in everyday interactions
✔ Neuro-affirming practices
✔ Real-world, actionable strategies
So that all people—not just those who fit the mold—can experience true belonging.

Who Should Attend
• Educators & school staff
• Employers, HR professionals & hiring leaders
• Community professionals & service providers
• Healthcare & mental health practitioners
• Neurodivergent individuals & advocates

What to Expect
This is not a passive conference—you’ll leave with tools you can actually use.
• Interactive workshops
• Real-life strategies for immediate implementation
• Lived-experience voices
• Panel discussion across the neurodiversity umbrella
• The Neuro-Inclusive Action Plan (N.A.P.)
• Community resource tables connecting you with local supports
• Networking opportunities throughout the day

Beyond the Label Is More Than a Conference. It’s a space where:
• Systems are questioned
• Lived experiences are centered
• And real change begins
This is about building a world where all brains belong—in practice, not just in theory.
Thanks to generous funding from the Municipality of North Grenville, this event is completely FREE!

Complimentary lunch is included.
Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions during registration.
Whether you’re an educator, employer, parent, community leader, or someone with lived experience—this event is for you.
Let’s build a future where neurodiversity is not accommodated, but integrated.
