The Municipality is seeking a proponent to complete a sidewalk installation, stormwater upgrades, pedestrian and traffic calming improvements including but not limited to the following:

1. Removals/adjustments and reinstatements including full/partial depth removal of asphalt and granular road structure, catch basin removal, culvert removal, curb stops, storm sewer removal and maintenance hole adjustment, and service tie-ins.
2. Supply, installation and commissioning of 1 Level 2, Type ‘C’ crossing with 2 RRFB locations, including all required components (2 solarized RRFB with AODA compliant push buttons, signage, poles, bases, electrical connections, pavement markings etc.), an AODA complaint raised crosswalk, sidewalk and traffic calming treatments.
3. Supply and installation of storm sewer upgrades, complete with all required components (catch basins, yard catch basins, service connections, maintenance holes, storm pipes, insulation, etc.)

This project provides a valuable linkage between the pedestrian facilities at Bridge Street and James Street, supporting regional and municipal aims to increase accessibility and connectivity to promote a healthy and active society, while upgrading current stormwater management and implementing traffic calming to enhance safety of all users.

Sealed tenders are to be submitted to the Municipality of North Grenville Public Works office on or before 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21^st, 2026. After that time, tenders will not be accepted.

Questions are to be submitted by before 10:00 a.m. Monday September 7^th, 2026, via email, with a Clarification Addendum issued by September 9^th, 2026.
