River Road Rehabilitation begins August 28, 2023 and will last approximately three weeks.
The rehabilitation of River Road will take place from Muldoon Road west to Actons Corners (approximately 2 km).
The works which are planned include:
- Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing gravel base
- Adjustment of the existing drainage ditch (where applicable)
- Remove and reinstall mailboxes in accordance with Canada Post guidelines
- Replace asphalt paving - including shoulders
The Public Works Department will provide a safe and effective travel space for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists while maintaining proper drainage and accessibility to the roadway during construction.
