North Grenville flags lowered to mark the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

Public Notice: North Grenville flags have been lowered to half-mast to mark the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism on June 23.

It is a day to honour the lives lost in the 1985 bombing of Air India Flight 182, bound for the United Kingdom from Canada, which killed 329 innocent people on board, including 280 Canadians. The Air India bombing remains the deadliest terrorist attack in Canadian history.
