Southgate believes mental health is important and we're excited about upcoming opportunities to grow and inspire life! This year the topic of the CMHA Mental Health Week is "A call to be kind." We've brought local therapists and speakers to talk about various aspects of the topic. The sessions are free and everyone is welcome! No registration is needed.

Here is the lineup for the week:

Monday, May 6 – 6:30pm
"Shining Light on Anger" - Michelle Aziz (Social Worker, Psychotherapist)
- Recognize anger and how it shows up in our lives.

Tuesday, May 7 – 6:30pm
"Parenting Stress meets Self-Compassion” - Courtney Vezina (Psychotherapist)
- Sharpen your skills in parenting from a mindful perspective.

Wednesday, May 8 – 6:30pm
“The Gift of Compassionate Curiosity” - Ron Pagé (Psychotherapist)
- Learn the art of having conversations with others in a genuine and caring manner.
