Spring Fest - Bluegrass Festival Teaser
A Fundraiser for a Young single dad

If you attended the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival over the years you likely have met Patrick Rupert, who volunteered for years driving musicians and festival goers to the stage, or back to their campers in a golf cart.

Fire has put this young dad and his son without a home and all their belongings were lost. Fortunately they are unhurt.

“We lost everything,” Rupert said. “It was mostly all water damage from the fire department putting out the fire. Being a basement unit, where is the water going to go? Down.”
To help Patrick, a concert is being held featuring several bluegrass bands, on May 4, 2024, 7-10pm, at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in their beautiful “soft seat” theatre. It takes several people to pull together a concert on short order, and so we thank Herb Cloutier at Jamming Around Man Productions (J.A.M.), Valley Grass, and The South Grenville Bluegrass Festival, Ottawa’s Bluegrass Mondays organizers, winter sky audio, and Tyler Comeau and Hwy 101, The Monroe Sisters, Maple Hill, Concession 23, and Brent Weatherall and Gilles Leclerc & Friends.

In order to make this concert a community event we are suggesting $30/person or Pay What You Can.
