Sam’s Fishing Derby is an annual event that happens at the end of June, where children of all ages gather at Salamander’s dock for a catch-and-release fishing derby. Participants bring their fishing rods and we supply the worms! Hosted by the family of Sam Tobias and the North Grenville Public Library. During the fishing derby, participants contribute what they can to Sam’s Children’s Book Collection at the library, in honour of Sam and his love of books and fishing.
