Public Skate, Family Skate, Adult Skate, & Shinny!
A Friend of the Library program (for all ages!) takes place every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Tallman Room at the North Grenville Public Library. Originally started by Dr. Pat Babin more than 15 years ago, the program has grown into a welcoming and well-loved social gathering for residents of North Grenville.
Each week features a guest speaker, offering interesting presentations and conversations on a variety of topics. Following the presentation and question period, attendees stay to enjoy tea, treats, and conversation in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Volunteers help make the afternoons extra special by bringing snacks each week. The program is a wonderful opportunity for residents to connect with others, meet new people - especially if you’re new to the community - and enjoy an engaging afternoon together.
