The Municipality is seeking proponents to update the current Transportation Master Plan (2019) and develop an Active Transportation Plan. The plans (though under separate cover) will work with other policy to support an effective, efficient, and safe municipal transportation network for all users. The Master Plan should support the current and long term needs of the Municipality while aligning with the overall vision of a sustainable, connected, and vibrant community. The Active Transportation Plan will support regional and municipal aims to increase accessible, multi-modal opportunities, promoting a healthy and active society while balancing the vehicle dependency of an urban/rural community.
