We have a project to expand it, but it won’t be ready until 2026.
This page is about how we are planning ahead to ensure we can keep up with community needs and demand.

Managing Infrastructure in our Community
Growth is part of our community’s future, and we’re planning for it carefully.
As North Grenville continues to grow, residents value both the character of the community and the benefits that thoughtful planning can bring, including housing options, jobs, and access to services.
At the same time, we must manage that growth responsibly. As demand on infrastructure and municipal services increases, we need to ensure our systems keep pace.
Our wastewater treatment facility is approaching capacity. That’s why we’re carefully managing development and investing in expanded infrastructure to meet current and future needs. This update explains where things stand today, what the Municipality has already done, and what comes next.
