A Road Safety Message from the North Grenville Police Services Board
NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The North Grenville Road Safety Committee is reminding all road users that everyone has a role to play when it comes to staying safe on our roads. During the winter months when there is less daylight, drivers are reminded to be aware of pedestrians and pedestrians are urged to be extra careful, particularly on the rural roads.

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is inviting community members to help develop North Grenville’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy.
“The Municipality is committed to strengthening its commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The creation of and EDI Strategy is an important step in ensuring North Grenville is a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community,” emphasized Mayor Nancy Peckford.
NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Ministry of Transportation has awarded the North Grenville Road Safety Committee the 2021 Road Safety Achievement Award (category: Collaboration in Road Safety). The award was presented to the Committee on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – On September 30th at 12:00pm, North Grenville’s Council will raise the Every Child Matters Flag to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Indigenous community members, members of the public, students, families and Municipal Staff are warmly invited to attend this public event.
NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville recognizes National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, 2022, a day to celebrate the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
National Indigenous History Month is recognized annually across Canada in the month of June.
The Municipality is inviting the community to participate in the development of a Reconciliation Framework. A community engagement session will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre (285 County Road 44).
