Notice: Please be advised that the Limerick Road Bridge will be under construction from October 28 to November 28, 2025. During this period, Limerick Road will be closed in the vicinity of the bridge to all traffic.
North Grenville residents are reminded to conserve water and monitor private wells as drought conditions continue to affect the region.
Both South Nation Conservation Authority (SNC) and Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA Oct 2025 Update) have issued low water advisories within their jurisdictions. While only certain parts of North Grenville fall within each watershed, all residents on private groundwater wells should take steps to protect their supply.
Notice: The Municipality of North Grenville has initiated a Master Planning process in accordance with Approach 1 of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to develop a Water and Wastewater Master Plan for the Municipality.

As part of a system-wide water main flushing program, the Municipality of North Grenville will be cleaning water mains in the Town of Kemptville. Flushing water mains is necessary to remove sediment and iron that gradually deposit in the pipes. Cleaning will take place from Mon - Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in some areas.
BURRITTS RAPIDS, ONTARIO – October 6, 2025 – Parks Canada advises residents and visitors that the Burritts Rapids Tip-to-Tip Trail will be temporarily closed between Centre Street and the lockstation for tree and woody vegetation removal. This is necessary to allow for inspection and to maintain the integrity of the dam. The work is scheduled from October 20th to 31st, 2025. The same area will close again for one week in November for waterside erosion protection. Exact dates are to be determined.
As part of the County Road 43 Widening Project, part of Barnes Street at County Road 43 will be closed from Wednesday, October 8 to Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Terry Thompson. Terry was a long-time Skate Patrol employee with the Municipality of North Grenville, where he brought joy, warmth, and a sense of community to everyone who crossed his path.

Notice from R.W Tomlinson Limited/MTO: Notice of Hwy 416 NB Closure
There will be a full closure of Highway 416 Northbound from Spencerville (Exit 12) to Oxford Station (Exit 24) from September 21st, 2025 at 10:00pm to September 25th, 2025, at 6:00am to facilitate the replacement of a culvert. The detour route will be Country Road 21, to County Road 22, to County Road 20, then re-entering Highway 416 Northbound.
