North Grenville, ON – North Grenville's Council has approved the Municipality's 2026 Budget, lowering the proposed municipal tax rate increase to 1.9 percent (from 3.1 percent) while advancing a robust capital investment program supporting roads, recreation, housing, public safety, and community organizations.
- A municipal residential tax rate increase of 1.9% represents approximately $39 annually on a home assessed at $300,000.
Due to forecasted precipitation, melting conditions, and current flood watches in the region, sandbags are available to residents who may need them. Sand, empty bags, and shovels are available at any time at the Public Works Garage (2814 Concession Road, Kemptville). Residents are asked to fill their own bags on site.
Notice: As of Monday, March 2, 2026, half-load restrictions are in effect, temporary signs will indicate when a road is off-limits to vehicles exceeding 5 tonnes per axle.

The upcoming event is taking place on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 8am to noon at the Urbandale Arts Centre, which is located at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, at 285 County Road #44, Kemptville, ON, K0G 1J0. There is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required.
