The Land Evaluation and Area Review (LEAR) is a study that is completed to examine the location of prime agricultural areas. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is undertaking this study based on its commitment to do so within it’s Official Plan. When the Counties’ adopted their Official Plan in 2015, it was modified by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in 2016 to include a policy that would require the undertaking of a LEAR study or equivalent.

Feds seriously up game on housing crisis, but smaller municipalities could be left behind

North Grenville, ON - As part of Local Government Week, the Municipality hosted two local youth for its first ever Mayor for a Day Contest on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville has launched the 2024 Community Grant Program for individuals and community organizations who wish to make a funding request.
As part of the 2023 North Grenville Capital Budget, rehabilitation of the gravel roadway base is planned for Totem Ranch Road. Work is scheduled to begin during the week of October 3rd, 2023 and will last approximately two weeks.
