North Grenville, ON – The Council of the Municipality of North Grenville is proud to recognize Seniors' Month, highlighting and celebrating the invaluable contributions of older adults who help shape and strengthen our community every day.
Across Ontario, June is regarded as a time to honour the achievements, wisdom, and influence of seniors, and to highlight the importance of supporting healthy, active, and connected aging.
North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (EDIAC) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Fund.
The Municipal Offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in observance of Canada Day, and will reopen on Thursday, July 2, 2026, during regular business hours.
There will be no waste collection on July 1. Collection will be shifted forward by one day for the remainder of the week. For the adjusted pick-up schedule, please refer to the waste collection calendar here.

North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Arts and Culture Development Fund (ACDF), supporting local projects that bring people together, spark creativity, and celebrate the community’s rich cultural identity.
The Municipality of North Grenville is updating the 2019 Transportation Master Plan (TMP) and the 2019 Commuter Cycling Plan (CCP). This updated document, being referred to as the Mobility Master Plan (MMP), is being developed to:
- Direct municipal policy and infrastructure investments over the next 10-20 years;
- Support growth and development to achieve broader community connectivity goals;
- Provide safe, comfortable and connected active mobility options and integrated choices; and
- Identify opportunities for enhanced sustainable practices and processes to support implementation.
North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is now receiving applications for the Mental Health Initiatives Fund (MHIF). This funding program is designed to help local organizations bring meaningful mental health initiatives and access to mental health training to community members. Mental health is foundational to both personal and community well-being. Through the MHIF, the Municipality is investing in local ideas that help reduce stigma, strengthen community connections, improve access to support services, and foster long-term wellness for residents of all ages.

Vegetation control along the County roadsides is an important part of road maintenance. It ensures clear sight lines for signs, intersections and roadside wildlife, promotes drainage and drying and prevents the establishment of trees and brush in the right of way. Controlling noxious and invasive weeds is another objective of the County vegetation management program.
