It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Terry Thompson. Terry was a long-time Skate Patrol employee with the Municipality of North Grenville, where he brought joy, warmth, and a sense of community to everyone who crossed his path.

NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is thrilled to share that it has received a $200,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Capital grant to complete essential upgrades Kemptville Outdoor Pool (29 Reuben Crescent) at Riverside Park, this much-loved recreation hub. From replacing aging filter tanks and piping to renewing the pool’s coping and tiles, these improvements will ensure that the facility remains safe, reliable, and welcoming for families and swimmers of all ages for years to come.
The Municipality of North Grenville is celebrating a historic $24,910,571 investment from the Government of Ontario to expand and upgrade Kemptville’s 30-year-old sewage treatment facility.
The funding is being delivered through the province’s Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund (HEWSF), a stream of the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program (MHIP). This significant commitment is designed to help high-growth communities like North Grenville build the infrastructure needed to support new housing, attract business, and enhance quality of life.
North Grenville, ON - The Municipality of North Grenville will mark Ukraine Independence Day (August 24) by raising the Ukrainian flag at the Municipal Centre at a ceremony on Monday August 25th, 2025. This gesture of solidarity stems from North Grenville’s twinning agreement in July 2023 with Sokal’, a community of similar size and demographics in Ukraine.
North Grenville, ON - The Municipality of North Grenville’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee (EDIAC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Fund. A total of $15,000 has been awarded to support five outstanding community initiatives that reflect and promote EDI values across North Grenville.
