NORTH GRENVILLE – As the weather gets warmer, more students will be walking and biking to and from school.
The Municipal Centre will be open today and tomorrow - April 8th & April 9th - on the arena side as a warming/charging station/water bottle refill location, with shower facilities available upon request. Please enter via the south entrance only.
Rideau Valley Conservation Authority FLOOD OUTLOOK- March 22, 2023 - The winter of 2022-23 is quickly coming to an end, and RVCA’s Flood Forecasting team is working closely with its municipal and agency partners to prepare for potential spring flooding. As discussed here, it is important to be prepared for possible flood conditions over the next few weeks as spring returns to the Rideau Valley watershed.
NORTH GRENVILLE – Council has declared Pitch-In Week, April 16 – 23, 2023 for the Municipality of North Grenville.
Public Works is working diligently, and in conjunction with Hydro, to assess and establish basic road safety before beginning cleanup.

Public Notice: Municipal flags have been lowered to half-mast in honour of the Quebec Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty.
Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Maureen Breau was stabbed during an attempted arrest at a home in Louiseville, Quebec, near Trois-Rivières. Sergeant Breau had more than 20 years experience and is a mother of two children.
Mayor Peckford, Council and the Municipality of North Grenville offer condolences to Sergeant Breau’s family, friends, colleagues and fellow officers during this difficult time. We are also wishing a fast and full recovery to the other officer on scene who was injured.
NORTH GRENVILLE, ON - At the April 4th meeting, North Grenville’s Council will discuss a Memorandum of Understanding that seeks to expand the Municipality’s successful partnership (since 2019) with the YMCA of Eastern Ontario - to include the management of North Grenville’s aquatic program, which is operated seasonally at the Kemptville Outdoor Pool.
