NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville has launched the 2023 Community Grant Program for members of the public and community organizations who wish to make a funding request.
“Organizations and individuals seeking support for community-based initiatives are encouraged to complete the application,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford. “We welcome applications that are innovative, leverage partnerships and foster community cohesion.”
NORTH GRENVILLE, ON – November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and with it launches an initiative of 16 days of activism against gender violence.
This campaign, led by the UN Secretary-General and UN Women since 2008, aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, calling for global action to increase awareness, promote advocacy and create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions.

NORTH GRENVILLE – With the holiday season in full swing, the North Grenville Police Services Board is reminding everyone to drive safely.
“No amount of alcohol or drugs is safe when driving. As you make plans for the holidays and year-round, please remember to plan ahead to ensure you arrive home safely, and encourage others to do the same,” emphasised Mayor Nancy Peckford.
NORTH GRENVILLE – The Municipality of North Grenville would like to congratulate Mayor Nancy Peckford on her unanimous appointment as Warden to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. The appointment occurred at the November 23rd United Counties Council meeting.
The Warden serves as the Head of Counties Council and is elected every two years by the ten member Mayors who sit on the Counties Council. In recent years, the position alternates between the Counties of Grenville and Leeds.

The Municipal Offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th to commemorate Remembrance Day, and will reopen Monday, November 14th, 2022.
