Province protecting jobs and driving economic growth in North Grenville with new fixed-route service to Ottawa
KEMPTVILLE — As part of its plan to protect Ontario, the government is investing nearly $15 million to help support safe, reliable transit services in rural communities, including more than $700,000 in the Municipality of North Grenville. The funding is being delivered through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund (OTIF) and will help drive economic growth and connect more people to jobs and housing.
North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville, in close partnership with the family of Rowan Dean, invites members of the community to a special ceremony on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM to mark the dedication of a section of the Rail Trail, as well as the unveiling of a memorial bench and commemorative plaque in Rowan’s honour.
June 1, 2025 - As we mark National Indigenous History Month, the Municipality of North Grenville reaffirms its deep respect for the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Turtle Island. This month offers all of us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of Indigenous experiences, amplify Indigenous voices, and act meaningfully toward reconciliation.
As part of a targeted education campaign, the Municipality has designed Traffic Lawn Signs available to interested residents to promote road safety and increase driver awareness. Where requested, under certain conditions, and as supplies last, a household will be provided a MNG Traffic Calming Lawn sign in accordance with all applicable by-laws.
